Washington House Republicans to host second Twitter town hall Feb. 28

Washington House Republicans will host their second Twitter town hall Feb. 28, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Participants can ask Reps. J.T. Wilcox, Norma Smith and Cathy Dahlquist a 140-character question using the hashtag #solutionsWA.

House Republicans held a successful Twitter town hall earlier this year on Jan. 9. During that event, legislators were able to answer questions on a variety of topics in just under 45 minutes.

Wilcox is the Republican Floor Leader and the Assistant Ranking Republican on the House Appropriations Committee, Smith  is the Ranking Republican on the House Technology and Economic Development Committee and Dahlquist is the Ranking Republican on the House Education Committee.

The public is encouraged to participate in the Feb. 28 event by using #solutionsWA. Those unable to participate, or who have trouble with #solutionsWA hashtag, can visit the House Republicans’ Twitter page @WaHouseGOP to track the conversation.
