Rep. Norma Smith to host telephone town hall Feb. 9
Rep. Norma Smith, R-Clinton, will be hosting a telephone town hall for residents of the 10th Legislative District on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
The community conversation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last about an hour. Residents wishing to participate can call (360) 553-3084. Once on the line, people will have the opportunity to ask questions live of Rep. Smith by pressing star (*) on their telephone keypads.
Telephone town halls allow Washingtonians to interact with their elected officials in an informal setting from the comfort of their own home. Legislators take questions as they discuss state government issues and the 2016 legislative session. Listeners can ask questions and participate further by answering poll questions.
